This general area of study gives you the flexibility to customize a doctoral program to meet your specific interests and career goals. You can focus on a particular IT discipline, such as information security or network architecture and design, or focus on IT within a specific industry. Courses help you develop advanced knowledge, as well as solid research and scholarly writing capabilities.

The general area of study is designed to prepare you for a job in teaching, consulting, or high-level IT leadership.

Residency Requirements: As a doctoral learner you will attend residential colloquia in addition to your online courses. At specific milestones in your program, you will attend three colloquia, each one week in length. See residential colloquia details.
